Miško kortai is a family business, and our family hails from Aukštaitija.

However, it so happened that we discovered and fell in love with this wonderful land of Dzūkija’s forests and lakes long ago—we bought a forest plot bordering the current Miško kortai area 15 years ago, which we unexpectedly acquired a few years ago.

Initially, there were no thoughts of creating a homestead or anything similar. But we were captivated by this place—Miško kortai is in a clearing of the Kapčiamiestis forest. Here, tranquility prevails, resonating with the countless sounds of birds and other animals, while the nearby winding Baltosios Ančios River fills the place with special energy.

Feeling with all our senses how good it is here, we decided to create something beautiful and meaningful—not just for ourselves, but for all of us.

Therefore, we invite you to feel not like guests, but as members of our community. Help us create what brings us joy, fills us with new energy, and allows us to discover this wonderful wonder of wild nature even more deeply.

Kapčiamiestis

is a small yet charming town in southwestern Lithuania, surrounded by the beautiful nature of Dzūkija.
